Sartoris purchased Educational Aids in 1983 and still manufacturers the traditional educational furniture made back at that time namely the Maypole and stackable music stands.  Over the years the Educational Aids product range has expanded, and we are now experts in steel trolleys for all departments in schools, particularly Sports trolleys and music trolleys.  We also manufacture early years furniture and play equipment for one of the largest Educational Suppliers in the UK and globally, having won an award for ‘Supplier of the Year’.

In 1980 Sartoris joined forces with Baz Roll Products (now known as the BIL group) as agents for the sale of castors and wheels.  Sartoris are stockists and distributors for castors and happy to help anyone with their enquiry and able to provide a full technical specification.  In 1990 Sartoris changed from wet spraying to powder coating which transformed the appearance of the final product.  We are able to provide powder coating services to many local businesses who can manufacture their own product but do not have the facility to powder coat.

Sartoris have manufactured and supplied many industries with various products over the years including carry chairs for the rescue service, generator frames and roll frames, flag pole brackets for large UK flag suppliers and offer bespoke work.

The Bikertidy was invented by the late Phil Barberton, owner and MD at the time who owned and rode many motorcycles for years.  Phil invented the BikerTidy when at home in his garage with space somewhat limited.  Phil decided he needed some way of storing all his kit together in a small space so went to work and made one.  Realising the huge demand the BikerTidy was launched in 2008.  It became a huge success and was showcased at many motorcycle exhibitions throughout the UK.  Since then its sister brand has been launched the Dive Tidy aimed a scuba divers to store their wet kit away.  There are many uses for both the Biker and Dive Tidy’s as its high quality, study products are also used in many industries such as the Police force, Fire bridge, Police Shield suppliers and Police Dog training suppliers.
